The Woods Lamp or skin scope has a 3x diopter magnifying lens and 4-UV lights to diagnose skin conditions. It features a spectral range of 365 nanometers.

Our Woods Lamp is designed to help identify the qualities, problems and the unusual conditions of the skin in order to determine proper treatment for the client.
Directions: 1. Attach the cover shade to wood lamp. 2. After cleansing client’s skin, cover client’s eyes with cotton rounds. 3. Completely cover client’s face with cover shade. The wood lamp should be parallel to client’s face with a distance of 15-20cm. 4. Identify different skin characteristics by the different colors that appear under the ultraviolet ray.
Woods Lamp Color Code: Light blue – normal and healthy skin; Yellow – oily, acne skin; Brown – hyperpigmented; White spots – mature skin; Purple – sensitive skin; Reflecting light spot – impurities, make-up, direct, debris; Indigo – dry skin
Cautions: 1.The wood lamp should be parallel to client’s face with distance of 15-20cm. Do not over-expose to the wood lamp since the ultraviolet ray may darken pigments or make skin more sensitive. Maximum duration should be 2 minutes. 2. During the analysis, cover client’s eyes with wet cotton rounds to protect client’s eyes from UV light.
