What is Microblading?

Microblading also known as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, 3D brows, or feather brows, is a relatively new manual method for recreating , correcting and improving  the appearance of the natural brow.  It is the process of manually implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin using a hand tool with a tiny, sterile, disposable needle.  Microblading is semi permanent and meant to be a natural-looking beauty enhancement.  It's much more subtle than a normal tattoo and will gently fade over time.

The procedure is ideal for those who already have natural eyebrows as well as those who don’t. The results are natural looking and long-lasting. Often thought of as a type of permanent-makeup, however, the concept is different. With microblading the ink is deposited with a manual pen with a blade that is 3x thinner that allows technicians to draw crisp, thin and natural looking hairs.

How long will microblading last?

This procedure is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time.  Clients may need touchups every 1-3 years depending on a number of factors: lifestyle (sun exposure), skin type (oily skin), beauty regimen (facial treatments, etc), use of chemical peels, and pigment color (lighter colors fade faster).
